Birthday Month!!

The last few days we have celebrated 3 birthdays! Todd's on the 20th, My Dad's on the 25th, and Shane (Todd's brother) on the 26th! Of course I use the word "celebrated" loosely since it's really hard to celebrate something while you are miles away! I guess a phone call works just fine!!

My dad celebrated his birthday in California on a business trip, lucky him...He said he was using his "Midwest Charm" to win some hearts and get Woodpro in the "bathroom" door!! www.woodpro.com Hopefully all those celebrities in California will want some awesome bathroom cabinets manufactured in rural USA. Or maybe someone who reads this blog will want to buy some!! If you are remodeling your bathroom you gotta check it out! The best quality of custom bathroom cabinets in all the world!

For Todd's birthday we spent the day in Destin! He had giftcards to go shopping and he only bought 2 tshirts. Too funny. So unlike the shop-a-holic whom I love...although I was very proud of him. We finished out the night with a table full of friends. Randy, Krista & Jonathan, Jason & Ashley, Franklin & Kimmy made the trip to Destin for a little Cantina Laredo dinner and lots of laughs!! We were very blessed to be around a group of friends who all love each other, love to laugh, and love to make fun! Thanks for making Todd's birthday great!!

We have a new addition to the Ferguson Beach House! It's Clarke!! He arrived Saturday morning after driving all night long. He's going to live down here with us! It's been a lot of fun hanging out with him. So far Clarke is loving it, he is still getting the hang of the weather...The other day we took a walk on the beach and saw our first group of spring breakers in bikinis; and I have to say that I "think" Clarke is starting to enjoy the weather and the scenery!

Coffee Corner

Give me any excuse, any excuse at all and I will drink coffee.

This is all the room we have to make our coffee masterpiece! I am blessed by the size of the sink in our little kitchen. And blessed by the dishwasher, microwave, fridge, stove, dishwasher (oh wait I said that already!) However the only place I can plug my coffee maker, or coffee grinder, or Kitchen Aid, or blender, or FRIDGE is this one outlet in the entire kitchen. Seriously if this is all I've got to make my coffee happen, just think what it looks like when I make cookies in my Kitchen Aid!

We were blessed today by a visit from my Aunt Bonnie and Uncle Bob. I'm glad they made a detour in their trip to see us. We learned so much about their life on the move. And to think, after all the places they have lived they decided to retire in Pomona, Missouri!! But after one look at their house you know why! wowzers so nice! Wait did I say retire...Bob works on so many projects I don't think he knows "how" to retire. He is such a wealth of knowledge, if I only knew half of what he knows I would be set for life. Todd and I enjoyed just sitting on our couch chatten it up with Bob and Bonnie...Then we really enjoyed our Italian dinner! Thanks again Bob! We enjoyed your visit so next time you just want to drop by go right ahead! We loved it!!!

Spring Break is just a few weeks away. Apparently Spring Break is a total of 2.5 months, then it will be family vacation time. We are so "excited" to see what our "routine" will be like when the craziness happens. I never when anywhere during Spring break when I was in school. I took that opportunity to work as much as I could. Now I will know, and I will surely blog about it. lol

Don't forget Valentine's Day is coming up. Todd already sent me a beautiful arrangement of tulips (my fav) on Tuesday. I wonder if I'll get something this week too? lol.. hint hint.. hehe.. **it must be the coffee talking***

Emma Elizabeth

At last we are home and I am able to put a few pictures of my New Niece Emma on here. I have several more pictures but I'll let the Mom handle the bragging rights!!! We were so excited to be able to enjoy and be in Missouri while Logan's Baby Sister was born.

Mom documenting every second of Emma's life. Everything from who visited and how much she ate and her diaper schedule! Elizabeth is such a good mom. And Rance...well let's just say Emma has already stole his heart! (at least that is what my brother said!)

Maybe she will be a good winker like her Aunt Paige! I thought this picture was so cute. Just look at that perfect nose!

A very proud Aunt Paige!!! She is just so precious. I can't believe this perfect little girl is related to me.

Waiting on a Baby & Snow days

Elizabeth's Bags are packed and she is READY to have this Baby Girl! We pray for a healthy baby and mom. Good luck to ya sis! We can't wait to meet her....and to know her name!

Our cabin in the woods! No bonfire tonight. Mom says it's crazy to do that with snow!

Crystal and I having a hay day in the snow. My hands were frozen! I just love the snow! I'm very thankful we were able to see Cabool's first snow of the year. But I have to admit...I'm ready for some warm weather and some sandy beaches!

A Wii Christmas in Icy January

A Wii Christmas in Icy January

Last night we enjoyed Christmas at my parents house. Haley couldn't make it but he made the other Christmas early this year. Logan was excited that there were MORE presents! He enjoyed "helping" everyone open their gifts....of course Mema (my mom) had hers open before Logan could make it to help. We have to watch Mema she tends to open out of turn. She peeks too.

All my siblings managed to keep one big gift a secret all year. We put together a 2008 photobook for Mom and Dad. They had no idea. Even when Elizabeth had to go "steal" Dad's camera to get his pictures; he was still clueless. It's going to become a tradition to get a big photobook every year now. Maybe we will actually start documenting more events since the pictures will be in a book and not a shoe box. Needless to say Mom and Dad really loved the book and the idea.

My mom got my dad a Wii for Christmas. And we are all really glad she got "him" one!!! We played all night long. We had fun making our characters, even Logan has a character. Todd doesn't let me win...even when I knock him down twice in boxing he comes back and knocks me out to win the game....I'm gonna start having a NO mercy rule! I've got to say that the most energetic at Wii is my mom...she sure does get into it. The best part is when Elizabeth (3 days shy of giving birth) beats Rance at the shooting game! Awesome!!! It was also great to watch Crystal play tennis for the first to in her life and her Wii life....lol.

The weather in Florida is sunny and in the 70s...however in Missouri it is sleeting and freezing in the 20s. I guess you could say we had a White Christmas!! Todd hates this weather....I love this weather! If it's going to be cold it might as well be white outside!

MO bound

We are off! Leaving in just a few minutes to start our adventure to Missouri. This will be the first time Todd and I have been able to travel this road together. How fun! I'm sure we will have lots of exciting things to see and talk about. With my eagle eyes watching for deer & road signs and his excellent driving ability, our road trip will be one for the books...or at least one for my blog!

For those in Missouri, we hope to see you! We have busy schedules but we are going to try to see as many people as we can! We miss everyone so much, family and friends! Please pray that we have a safe trip! Thanks! I'm sure I'll have plenty to write about when I get back home...Florida.
