Friends in Florida

Our Missouri Friends came to vacation and we were able to catch some rays with them!!

Amy and Collin vacationed in Ft Walton, practically next door to us! Todd and I were able to go hang out for a day. We played sand volleyball and discovered you can't jump in the sand. We had a fun day on the beach and a fun night around Destin. I was able to go back the next day while Todd was at work. They cooked a delicious crab and shrimp dinner! YUM! We feel so blessed to be able to see friends on their vacation! In fact my parents and brother, sis-in-law & the kids will be here in a few days! We can't wait to see more familiar faces around sunny Florida!

Pics

Here are a few pictures from our trip to Orlando. Can you believe that I only took 3 pictures. Yeah, and they were with my small HP camera. As soon as we arrived I checked my Canon and...oops...no Compact Flash Memory Card. But that was ok, we still had a great time.

Life Update

Not sure what to write about so I'll just give everyone an update on the beach bums.
The past week it has rained....so no beach days this week.

Let's see. June 22, 2009 Todd and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary in Orlando with our friends Krista and Jonathan. We drove around Orlando, shopped, ate, and watched Cirque du soleil in Downtown Disney. That show was awesome! It was amazing to see all the talent and effort to put on this 2 hour show. Another note about Orlando, they sure do love their Mickey Mouse. Seriously, it was crazy. Our trip was fun and memorable. Congrats to us...we are still not sick of each other yet.

Our roommate since February moved out. Yep Clarke moved out of our beach house and back to Missouri with Dad. We wish him all the best. As far as us feeling any sort of empty nest...not so much. Sorry brother, but we have already moved back into your room. You are welcome back anytime....for a visit.

The Fourth of July we had to work, but we were not too tired to celebrate that night. We invited a few friends over for some Jambalya. I was impressed with my new southern dish. We hung out and had a few thousand laughs celebrating our Freedom.

And for today. Todd and I get days off work together. This new job has enabled us to actually enjoy more time with each other. The past few weeks we have went out and enjoyed the area, but today (since it's raining) we are just enjoying our home. Watching some movies, and cleaning/sifting through our boxes of stuff. Spring cleaning at it's finest.

We are both looking forward to the next few weeks. A few friends and family are vacationing around here so we get to see some familar faces! Yeah!
