Do you smell Cookies??? Or is it Cinnamon Rolls!?!?

Ahh ha! The wonderful aroma of Homemade Cinnamon Rolls and Chocolate Chip Cookies baking in the oven has filled the Ferguson house for the last 2 weeks. Oh yes! And to much surprise we have not eaten them all ourselves! I went on a big...HUGE baking spree for Relay for Life. Instead of walking for the cause; I baked....Todd and I baked. As noted on Todd's last blog he and his work (Gap) were raising money for Relay For Life and that is what we did. So I brought in samples of some yummy treats and everyone gave me an order...several orders. The end result was 9 dozen Cinnamon Rolls, 8 dozen Choc Chip Cookies, Peanut butter balls, Oreo balls, Buck-A-Roos, NoBake Cookies, and White Chocolate covered pretzels kept me in the kitchen for 2 weeks with donations totaling over $400. How awesome is that?!!?!! It sure did make the nights on my feet up to my eye balls in flour sound a little better! I'm not sure on the actual Total that Gap employees raised but I do know that Gap is going to match $1 for $1. So we really raised over $800. WOW! Praise God! I'm sure Todd will post on the ending total...if he ever gets around to posting again...hehe

On a different note, Todd and I will be celebrating our 5 year anniversary this Friday!!! What an adventure it has been thus far! I can't wait to see what the next 5 years and the next 30 years bring us. Babe, I love you more today than yesterday...of course yesterday you had dinner ready for me when I got home....and today you are working late....but I still love you more than I did yesterday! I appreciate all you do for us! You bring me such happiness and love. I don't know what I would do without you! Thank you for loving me and treating me as your beautiful bride. You are the greatest! LAFY
To celebrate our anniversary we are headed to Wichita KS for the weekend. maybe an update of the fun stuff when we return.

2 weddings and a baby shower

That is what I have been up to for the past 3 weeks!!

Wedding 1 - Memorial Day weekend. Shane and Rachael gettin hitched on Sat. Todd and I headed back to Spfld on Thursday night (Todd was able to switch work shifts for us to head back that evening instead of early Friday)!! Friday we all met at the church to decorate for the wedding and then it was time for Rachael's Personal Shower....no details...no comment! :) The wedding day arrived and it was get hair and makeup done and make sure that it was Rachael's day with no problems...not to mention a 3 year old ring bear who wet his tux pants...always fun when we have kids involved!! The wedding was beautiful and of course the bride...how pretty...Rachael was just glowing all day! Her snow white dress was gorgeous on her and made her look radiant. The sage bridemaids gowns looked wonderful with the touch of lavendar daisies and yellow roses cascading the church. The highlight of the ceremony was when Shane got all choked up when he saw his bride for the first time walking down the aisle...then he had to play his guitar and sing to her...breath taking! They ended the night saying goodbye to USA and HOLA Mexico! (more details on their honeymoon click on the rachael and shane link)

Wedding 2 - The very next weekend my folks come down to deliver trailer load 2 and to pick me up for my cousin's wedding in Lawton, OK. Oh yes another wedding, but this one was only 4 hours away...a short trip...sorta. It was fun traveling with my parents, they are wonderful. We were able to catch up with our lives and different events going on. The 4 hours went by pretty fast. Once we arrived in Lawton it was time to change into our wedding attire and find the church. The bride, Meagan, looked stunning as she walked down the aisle. She had bright orange flower arrangement covering the stage and the bridesmaids wore blue gowns. A great color combination. Awesome!! After the "kiss" and once all the chocolate covered strawberries were gone we went on a caravan trip across Lawton. Very Beautiful! We headed to Fort Sill, Medicine Park, Cobblestone Village, and then to my cousin's house. If you are looking for a fun mini vacation not too far from home, you have to check out Medicine Park and drive up Mount Scott. BEAutiful! It was icing on the cake!

Baby Shower - Christina's little Madelynn is coming soon, so Angela hosted a baby shower in honor of the little one. We are so excited to welcome Baby Maddie in to this crazy big world. So of course we had to have cake...it's not a party unless there is cake!! My friend, Stephanie, make the cake and she did an outstanding job. Everyone wants her phone number...so Steph, get ready to make more cakes!! The cake was delicious and if Christina wouldn't have taken it home to Wyatt, I might of been able to sneak some home to Todd. Um Christina, if there is any left...you know my address!! What am I talking about, I know it's gone. Anywho, Welcome Maddie, we are waiting!!! After the Shower I headed for Cabool to see all my family. We were able to eat lunch with my aunts and uncles and then go to our little cabin in the woods. We had "homemade ice cream" by Blue Bunny and Grandma Mac's brownies. YUMO Little Logan is growing big and I just can't get enough of him. All Sat night we just watched him play with a string. How silly, but very entertaining.

Needless to say I have been very busy. Maybe things will start to slow down...what am I talking about...it's the summer...nothing is slow in the summer....well nothing but the weekends!
Enjoy your day! God Bless!
