A Sweet Lake Wedding

Friday, June 12 marked another day in the memory bank for Krista and Jonathan as they tied the knot. They have so much love and joy to give to each other; it was quite a celebration for many friends and family as they gathered around to witness the joining of their hearts. The wedding site was at Krista's Grandparents backyard (the lake). A beautiful beginning for a beautiful couple. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Jonathan Chapman!!! I Love You two!!

Newness

In conversations with everyone that you come in contact with either by phone or in person, the question: So what's new with you? is usually said to one or the other. Well finally I can say something besides: Umm, not much new. Same stuff just a different day.

My life as a bank teller is over. It was a bittersweet departure. Well the only bitter part was leaving the 3 awesome co-workers at the Beach branch. The good thing is I will still be seeing them, when I go to the bank....if not other times hanging out. It is mostly Sweet!!

My new job as a Front Desk/Reservations at Aqua condominiums (www.aqua-gulf.com) started this week. So after day 2 I must say I'm gonna like it there. I haven't been bored yet! There is tons of stuff to learn and I can't wait to know everything and everyone. Let this new challenge begin!!! (note: This is not my picture it's from the website.)

Krista & Jonathan

My Florida Friends are getting hitched! They are so busy with life and everything that goes with it, they haven't had time to do engagement pictures. It's funny since they have been engaged for 2 years. lol I finally convinced them to head to the park with me to take a few quick pictures before we went on our double date to watch the UFC fight. Krista and Jonathan are such a sweet couple.

We are so blessed to find such a Godly couple who we both enjoying being around!

We have both been given new nicknames...Todd is Toddathan and Paige is Paudge. Don't worry we renamed their vehicle from Rocky to Bratwurst.

My New Favorite Snack

Never go grocery shopping when you are hungry. Isn't that what people always say. Well we did it. And came home with some delicious snacks! First we had to restock the freezer, the Ice Cream was BOGO! Double yeah! As we were down the chip aisle I was looking for a little something different. A little something that I could either eat with my lunch or as a snack. I was not expecting heaven in a bag but that is what I found. Zapp's Sweet Potato Chips! So Good! My curiosity was getting the best of me, so as a "midnight" snack I opened up the bag and we could put it down. I'm really excited about my brown bag lunch tomorrow!

When did Log In become Login?

Can I just ask how many times a day do people login to different things on the computer? Goodness, before I can even see my background of my computer I have to login and put in our password. Then it's to check email. Usually my next move it to check my favorite blogs. If I want to leave a comment I get to login there. Then there's facebook and myspace; most days I don't have the energy to type in all my stuff. And goodness to remember all my logins and passwords. Oh and at work I have several logins and passwords for several different things. I refuse to start Twitter, or twittering or whatever that bird thing is online. Maybe I'm just getting too old.

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day Mom and Elizabeth!! and my other Mom friends!
Mother's Day was eventful to most. I received 3 red roses from church. They were handing them out to all ladies...lucky for me!! Then after Todd was off work, we went to the beach. It was a beautiful day. The water was a little crisp at first but after the inital shock it was perfect.

My mom had a busy day and finally a little after 9 she gave me a call. Umm shouldn't that have been the other way around. Shouldn't I have called my mom on mother's day? Uhh YEAH! I knew she had a busy week at the florist, tornadoes, and graduation; so I sent her some flowers!!! And I knew when she found some time she would call. That's what I do when there is a holiday at the florist, I wait until after the "tornado" has settled. I'm glad everyone was safe and hope that all Mom's felt special on Mother's Day! I love my mom so much. Being far away makes it tough during holidays. Love you mom, I appreciate everything you do for me!

Summer is HERE!!!!

Visitors from Cabool!!!!! We were so blessed to have warm hugs and kisses from Missouri!

Eating on the Pier at Pineapple Willy's. It was such a beautiful view to start off their visit. Grandma has only been to the beach once in her life and only on an actually vacation twice...maybe.

Todd and Dad (Glen)

Paige, Mom (Cleea) and Grandma Mac

So last week we were blessed by having Mom, Dad and Grandma Mac visiting with us. They stayed for quite a while. We were able to play, and go, and relax, and get a suntan/burn. One of the most memorable times was the day I took off work and we all (minus Todd b/c of a no show at work, he had to work on his day off) went to the beach. Grandma spend her first day ever on the beach. She was not dressed in her new swimsuit; but her sweatshirt, capri jeans, fleece jacket, and Cabool Alumni Visor. She thought it was cold. How funny. It was a little breezy but we managed to play some beach smashball and sleep. I took a few walks on the beach with my Daddy. We were able to find a few big seashells for Grandma.

We loved having them come visit. Our family means the world to us and knowing that they took time to come stay a week mean the world. Our hearts are lifted. It makes us miss them anymore. You see one thing with my family is we can always pick up where we left off. We talk on the phone like we just saw each other last month. Which is usually not the case. I love them so much. Grandma said she will only come visit us again if there is a Grandbaby to see. And our reply was....Logan and Emma will be here in August! Will that work? She just laughed.
