It feels Good!!

I must brag on myself for just a minute...I finally fit into a size 8 jean...yippee....and I can't believe I am posting it on the internet! hehe Oh well. It felt really good, especially today, when I was working cashier and a this nice looking lady (good size) came up with some clothes and it was size 10 and I was just smiling in my head thinking...I bought that size not too long ago...yeah for me. I only pat myself on the back for this because it has been a good 5 years since I have been an 8...a long 5 years battling on and off "diets" and the dreaded saying "We will start that Monday!"
Ok so the question you might be asking is "what are you doing?" Well I'm not buying things that will tempt me (like oreos and chips and pasta). If it's not in the house we won't eat it. We will go out to eat time to time, but we will try to be good. And Todd just got the book "Eat This, Not That" It's so crazy what they say is better for you and what they say is bad...some things I would have never thunk it. So back to what I'm doing, just cutting carbs, increasing protein, drinking EAS Shakes, cutting calories, and working really hard at getting a Hawaii ready bod...although I need to start the situps again....I'll DO that Starting Monday!! :)

Logan turned 2

I can't believe how much time flies! Little Logan is now 2, and the terrible twos have already begun! Luckily for my bro and sis the diaper bill will soon go down as Logan is getting really close to being fully potty trained. How exciting. At Logan's Birthday Party Eliz asked is he was ready to open presents and Logan's response was, "NO, Need to Poo!" Too funny. He went in the big boy potty and then opened presents. However next year we will open all clothes presents first. Once he opened the Shrek Fishing Pole and gear (from Tistal and Hay) he was hook line and sinker on that present. Then when he opened the drum set that Mima and Papa got him he was a drumming machine! The Gap clothes didn't impress him any, but that's ok b/c he will look darling fishing and playing the drums!! Logan was a little under the weather at his birthday. He was throwing up all day. But that didn't keep his spirits down too much, he still was adorable as ever!

Dude, My feet hurt!

I've got some mad pain in my feet and my legs. I walk with a weird gimp and it's not because I fell down and hurt myself; it's because i've been working at GAP, busting my hump! During my never-ending job hunt I have been filling in at the GAP and working very random hours. Well just the other day I went into work at 7 am and was going to work until 5:30, but we had so much to do and not enough people working that I was able to work a little longer. Let's say until 11:30 PM. yet that's right 7am-11:30pm. I'm proud to say I didn't watch a lick of tv that day!!
Then just yesterday (Thursday) I woke up at 4 to do shipment at 5!! I took a 4 hour break for lunch (so I could do an interview!!!! will hear something soon I hope) and went back at 5 til 10. So yep, I'm a GAPster and loving it. It's a lot of hard work, but at the same time, I'm loosing some weight!! This running around all day instead of sitting on your bum at a desk is awesome on the waistline!!!
We are off to see Logan turn 2!! Don't forget to wear GREEN on Monday!!

As of Now

Howdy! Thought I would send a nice little update for all my blog readers!

Felling Better Update: Yes, I am feeling better. All last week I was sick with a sore throat, sinus, yucky thing. But As of Now I wake up with a cough, take some Daytime Cough Meds and am good until bedtime. So Yes I am feeling better! Thank goodness. I hate feeling bad, because that makes me feel lazy, because you don't feel like doing anything, because you have no energy to do anything, because after you the thing you do you feel tired.

Job Update: Still on the search. I had an interview, sounds like a good job...but the pay is crap. Gotta keep looking! Gotta be patient! Gotta get my photography stuff going!!

Photography Update: I have a couple appointments this weekend...weather permitting on one. I need to get a website up and running. I am working on a photobook for the Cabool Florist to showcase all the fabulous wedding flowers and rental pieces they do. It's lots of fun! I love flowers!! If you haven't seen the photobook I did for my sister's wedding let me know and I can show it to you! It's awesome...if I do say so myself!

GAP Update: The new Baby & Kids GAP store addition is opening this Friday, Feb 29. Todd is so excited! He will be managing that store. I'm so proud of him. Since I am jobless for the time being and GAP needs some extra bodies to help get things set up for the opening, I will be working an all nighter thursday (8-8) to get everything set up in time to open. That will be fun, and a lot of work! I hope we can get some starbucks brought in by 4:00 AM. (hint: don't call me Friday morning....i will be sleeping!!)

Condo Update: We love our new place! It's quite cozy. I can't wait till everything outside turns green!! I love the color green. Oh and I love doing Laundry!!!

Thanks for reading, until next time!! Peace Out!

Getting Settled In Branson! And Valentine's Day!!

We are moved in!!! Well sorta...we still have boxes that are unpacked and being repacked and are in storage. But it's all good. I really love living here at the condo! outside our back door is 2 pretty big ponds and a golf course hole. I saw a crazy golfer today fighting through some of the unmelted snow. too funi. Oh and we have ducks!! It's great. One duck thinks it's a rooster, because every morning we hear the duck quack really loud, just once, but then we know it's time to get up. Who needs alarm clocks anymore. Especially when our sliding glass door is facing the sun. Oh yeah, 2 accesses to the balcony. Good morning!!! Put the Coffee on!!! heeheeha

Valentine's day has come and gone! Todd sent me tulips!! Which I would say that tulips in a vase are the sexiest flowers!! He remembers everything. I love you!! We didn't get to celebrate Vday together since he was still working in B'ville, but that's alright. It just makes it more interesting. Which reminds me....we still need to go out for our Valentine's Sushi Dinner!!!! How 'bout it Todd??

I was able to work Valentine's Day at my mom's florist in Cabool!! It was lots of fun. I have never worked so hard in my life! and since there was ice everywhere and no school it was a little slower than last year! Still lots of love was spread through the flowers!! Even a simple rose on Valentine's Day is awesome.....with some dinner!

Also right after Vday, my mom had a wedding...she is now a wedding coordinator/planner! So Crystal and I got to help with the wedding too! Lots of work, but lots of fun. I took some awesome pictures of the flowers and the decorations, and I am working on a book for the store. It's going to be awesome!

Which reminds me. Since I do not have a job yet....still looking.... I am available full time now to take pictures!! So if anyone needs a photographer for any occasion just let me know and I can do the job. Don't be scared, I do good...if I don't say so myself...and I'm cheaper than others!! Not that I'm cheap, but that I'm cheap for now.
Easter is early this year!! Book me now. heehe I'll see if I can find a real bunny!
---anyone know of someone who has a pet bunny, let me know, I might need it for some pictures!--

SNOW

For all you Missourians that did not get the 7" of Snow that we got in B'ville, here is what you are missing!!! But like Missouri, everyone made this an official Winter Weather Freak Out event. People were scared to drive in snow (no ice involved). They flooded the grocery stores and called into work. Although there were plenty car accidents, so some are better to stay home and not risk going to work. (like the WalMart 18 wheeler that flipped on it's side between Nowata and B'ville, now that was something to see!!)
Notice the kids sledding down the huge hill, good thing they bailed b/c the street was their next destination!! I enjoyed watching it snow all day long. It's not everyday or every year that I get to see snow fall like that. Huge flakes and small ones. It's just too bad, I didn't call into work and stay home so I could play in it before sunset. Maybe next time!

On another note. We hope enough of the snow has melted away by Saturday b/c Ben and Clarke are coming down to help us load the rest of our stuff in the famous Woodpro Trailer! Missouri here we come!!!!
